Elam Communications have been the main data cabling and electrical services company used by the IT Directorate of ACU National for a number of years.

In my role as IT Coordinator of the MacKillop campus in North Sydney, I have used their services regularly for any data cabling and electrical services required on campus and found their service and quality of work excellent.

They have always provided prompt and efficient service and on the occasions when an urgent issue has arisen, I have been able to rely on their responsiveness and assistance in resolving the matter.

Three recent projects in which Elam have assisted the university are:

1. Comms and electrical cabling for the upgrade audio visual and video conferencing equipment of the main auditorium on the North Sydney campus, where they installed and configured numerous data points and GPO’s.

2. Installation for our newly acquired offices on multiple floors of 23 Berry St North Sydney. Elam installed the Fibre links, data cabling, switches, patch panels and switch cabinets throughout the 4 levels of the building.

3. Installation of a Structured Cabling system on levels 10 and 11 of 8-20 Napier Street North Sydney. This installation encompassed the build of 2 x Comms Rooms, 230 cat5e outlets and a fibre backbone
